Insurance Fraud Solicitor

An Insurance Fraud Solicitor/Fee Earner is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 100 Defendant law firm based in Liverpool. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

The Firm
My client is an international, award winning Insurance practice with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a fraud Solicitor to join their market leading Fraud department where you will investigate and manage a caseload of pre and post litigated Motor files.

The Role
To work within the motor fraud team and manage a caseload of litigated cases and conduct any relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim as appropriate.

Key responsibilities:
Review case upon allocation and report to client/prepare strategy report
Identify fraud type and tailor investigations accordingly
Review and analyse database/intelligence search results and make further enquiries as appropriate
Draft own legal documents including defences, counter schedules, Part 18 RFFIs, Part 35 questions
Liaise with other solicitors, insurers and agencies to gather evidence
Instruct paralegals to complete various data mining and other relevant investigations
Instruct various experts as appropriate
Completion of MI
Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
Deal with own telephone hearings as appropriate

What you need
Applications are invited from Defendant Motor Solicitors as well as Fraud Solicitors. You will ideally have Fraud experience, however we are also happy to consider those with general Defendant Personal Injury experience.
