Personal Injury Paralegal EL/PL - An exciting role has arisen with this claimant EL/PL team which offers a personal injury paralegal the chance to develop their experience of general personal work. Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of the MOJ Portal, specifically stages 2 and 3.

SUMMARY

  • Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal - EL/PL MOJ Portal
  • Location: Manchester
  • Salary: £17,000 - £21,000
  • Reports to: Team Leader
  • Expertise: Ideally at least 6 months EL/PL experience as a personal injury at stages 1-3 of the MOJ Portal. Candidates with a claimant or defendant background will be considered.

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE PERSONAL INJURY TEAM

The claimant personal injury team of this leading firm has undergone a period of recent investment and is now looking to hire a number of MOJ Portal fee earners with EL/PL experience. The team has been re-organised to allow fee earners to focus on EL/PL matters and the nature of the department is such that lawyers handle the claim from inception through to negotiation and settlement.

A number of MOJ team members have progressed into the litigated department, which has also increased the demand for a number of more junior fee earners to come through the ranks. The team promote from within wherever possible, so this piece of recruitment is designed to bring in new talent to help support the team.

STATE-OF-THE-ART-TECHNOLOGY

The successful applicant will be working on the latest systems to ensure fee earners can focus on what they do best. The team is highly forward thinking and dynamic so expect a positive and supportive environment.

The firm is ideally looking for EL/PL paralegals of fee earners who have a clear understanding of the MOJ portal. Those with knowledge of stages 1, 2 and / or 3 should apply. Furthermore, the following attributes are also important:

  • The ability to work well in a team environment;
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately whilst maintaining client service levels; and
  • The ability to meet targets and deadlines.
