Chambers listed, Legal 500 law firm is seeking a private client solicitor 5+ years' PQE level to join the team in Reading, as part of the firm’s succession planning.
 
The firm is highly regarded due to the high levels of service, expertise and quality it provides to its private clients. The ideal candidate for this private client solicitor role will be able to deal with a range of other matters.
 
These include:

• Will drafting (including those with Trusts)
• Estate administration from start to finish, including intestate estates, and dealing with all Inheritance Tax, income tax and capital gains tax issues arising during the administration.
• Elderly Client matters
• Tax planning
• Trust admin
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection work

You will be working in a team of 6 other fee earners and have the full support of a legal secretary. A STEP qualification would be desirable but not essential.
