Legal Counsel

A global research and life sciences organisation is looking a Legal Counsel to join them in Cambridge full-time for an interim period of 6 months.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Counsel will become part of a small team and work on a range of commercial matters including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements including Licences, Sales Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements and Distribution Agreements;
• Providing ad hoc legal advice to senior management; and
• Implementing new processes for the wider business and working with external counsel where required.

Candidate requirements

To be successful in your application to this In-House Counsel role you must demonstrate:

• 2+ years of PQE as a Commercial Lawyer
• A good track record of providing interim support to in-house teams
• Strong commercial contracts experience is crucial
• Any multi-jurisdictional experience is highly beneficial
