Legal & Compliance Manager.
I'm currently working with a busy and successful wills and estate planning company, based in Leicester city centre. The company provides advice for all aspects of wills and estate planning, as well as asset protection.
There is now a brand new opportunity to join this expanding company as their legal & compliance manager.
If you have experience in wills/trusts/probate/estate planning and compliance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a legal & compliance manager, you will provide legal expertise, advice, and support to senior management (approx. 10), along with overall responsibility for Company Policy & Procedures, client complaints, and GDPR.
You will be required to investigate and communicate with management and clients regarding any client issues or complaints to achieve a satisfactory outcome. You will also be required to liaise with and work alongside, one of the main business partners who offer their Executor and Trustees services.
This opportunity requires you to be driven, enthusiastic, commercially-minded, a strong team player, versatile and able to work efficiently under your own initiative whilst delivering a high level of professional service. You will be required to implement compliant processes and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have excellent attention to detail.
As a legal & compliance manager, you would be required to promote the company and develop further business opportunities and provide expertise and advice to staff in all areas of compliance and regulatory matters.
The role will also involve handling breaches/incidents, GDPR monitoring, reviewing and monitoring all processes to ensure that they are compliant, maintaining department logs/compliant records and preparing information for senior managerial reports.
The company's location is perfect for commuters as they're based just a few minutes from the train station.
