Paralegal

A full-service law firm with 2 offices across Yorkshire is looking for a Paralegal to join them in Wakefield for a Conveyancing assistant role. This is a full-time Paralegal opportunity offered on a permanent basis. Established in 1985, the firm has grown from strength to strength and is home to some highly talented legal professionals.

Responsibilities of your new role

Working as part of a close-knit team, this Paralegal role will see you provide support to a Conveyancer. You will be exposed to a breadth of high-quality conveyancing matters from inception through to post completion including:

• Sales and purchases 
• Freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered property
• Extensive client contact
• Re-mortgages
• Leasehold flats
• New builds
• Transfers of Equity

Candidate requirements

In your application to this Paralegal role you should demonstrate:

• Some work experience as a Paralegal in conveyancing
• Proven experience assisting with sale and purchase transactions from inception through to post completion 
• The ability to work within a busy fast paced conveyancing department

The successful Paralegal will benefit from a competitive salary of £15,000 - £21,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus lovely offices within walking distance of the train station
