HR Advisor Role

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join us at one of the UKs top Law firms. This firm has offices around the world and is looking for only the highest calibre of candidates to join their HR team.

The HR team themselves are a close knit, motivated and professional group that still manage to have loads of fun in the office. They put an emphasis on ongoing career support and development for all their staff and want a candidate that's willing to branch out and take ownership over new roles and projects.

The role itself will cover a full range of HR Generalist responsibilities on a strategic and operational level. The successful candidate will work closely with their team to offer excellent support to managers, employees and other stake holders. They will also be the first point of contact for numerous short and long term projects.

The main roles and responsibilities include:

  • To manage monthly payroll in partnership with the Financial Director.
  • Produce regular statistical reports including employee diversity and sickness absences.
  • To take ownership of both permanent and temporary recruitment for specific client groups.
  • Take responsibility for the Firm's Junior Secretarial scheme; including maintaining and creating partnerships with local colleges, candidate assessments and scheme administration.
  • Assisting the Head of HR with shortlisting applications for the firms graduate recruitment programs.
  • To assist in the design and delivery of project work as the department requires.
  • Assist in a range of employee relations procedures including disciplinary actions.
  • Aid in the design of ongoing L&D programs within the Firm.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Degree educated with an interest in pursuing CIPD qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role.
  • Preferably have experience in Professional Services environment.
  • Be a strong and confident communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with numerous stakeholders.
  • Someone able to provide an excellent quality of work in everything that they do.
