This is quite a rare opening for a senior level corporate lawyer/finance lawyer to make what could be a career-defining (and life-changing) move to the Cayman Islands. The team advises on the Cayman law elements of the same deals that you would see at a big international law firm. The work is complex, fast-paced and varied. You will be client facing and have involvement in every aspect of business development, enabling you to build your network with the ultimate aim of stepping up to Partnership. (JMH/209)

Requirements

• Experience of high-value corporate, banking or finance work (general or with specific expertise in areas such M&A, private equity, structured finance, leveraged finance, funds finance).
• Likely to have a minimum of 8 years’ pqe – more senior applicants welcome.
• Qualification in the UK or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (most typically Australia, New Zealand or Canada) is required for admission to the Cayman Bar.
• Strong credentials in a leading City/equivalent law firm.
