Senior Commercial Paralegal and Business Affairs Manager

Client

You will be joining a leading UK sports organisation in a newly created role.

Role

You will be initially based at the organisation's fantastic HQ located on the west London/Berkshire borders.

You will undertake an extremely diverse in-house role, getting involved in a wide range of commercial contracts and issues and supporting the General Counsel on various legal matters facing the organisation.  You will additionally support the CEO directly with respect to business affairs related matters.  As such, this is a mixed role and one allowing you to be across the organisation and really become ingrained working with key internal stakeholders.

You will play a crucial role in continuing to shape and build the future success and commercial growth of the governing body as it continues its expansion plans into the rest of 2019 and beyond.

You

You will have several years' of experience working on various commercial contracts and legal issues in a prior Paralegal or Legal Executive type role.  You will also be comfortable with and have experience of performing various business affairs, administrative and organisational type functions.  Prior experience of the sports sector is not a pre-requisite.

You will have completed an LLB and possibly also the LPC and/or GDL.

You will be able to work full-time in the Oxfordshire and/or Northants regions going forward in terms of location of this role.
