COMMERCIAL LEGAL EXPENSES UNDERWRITER – GREATER MANCHESTER
Salary: £COMPETITIVE
The company:
Our client is a broker providing a range of legal expenses insurance covers. They underwrite business in 9 different licences and in 12 different countries. They also work with clients to adapt their current products, as well as writing new products tailored to their client’s needs.
The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and professional qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their legal expenses team. The role will focus on managing commercial schemes, underwriting new risks and auditing the performance of legal expenses risks.
You will be required to master and implement underwriting guidelines and to demonstrate a detailed understanding of risk exposure and appetite in respect of Commercial ATE.
Essential Requirements
Experienced in running commercial cases within a firm of solicitors
Experience of underwriting commercial After the Event (ATE)
Worked in a similar underwriting role or have suitable commercial litigation experience
Be knowledgeable of all aspects of claims (quantum, limitation, liability)
Key Skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with voice, digital and face to face communication
Excellent customer service skills
