SUMMARY

  • Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Executive

  • Reports to: Team Leader
  • Expertise: Around one year or more of experience as a personal injury paralegal or legal executive dealing with a litigated fast track claimant personal injury EL/PL. Applicants from candidates with defendant insurance litigation experience will also be considered.

The claimant personal injury EL/PL team, in particular, represents clients in a variety of legal disputes from fast track slips n trips to high profile multi track matters. The team is regularly ranked in the legal press including Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 and is committed to becoming one of the dominant forces in the personal injury market.

THE ROLE - FAST TRACK EL/PL AND OL KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate at least one year of carrying a caseload of fast track litigated claimant EL/PL and/or OL matters. Fee earners from a defendant insurance background will also be considered. Candidates will be expected to work autonomously as part of a driven, highly focused team. Ideal skills include the ability to:

  • Progress a fast track caseload of litigated claims;
  • Collate information and analyse evidence quickly and effectively;
  • Draft witness statements and other ancillary court documentation;
  • Demonstrate a full working knowledge of CPR rules.
