Litigator – Group Action Claims

Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for Litigators on behalf of a regional firm of Solicitors. You will be joining the Group Action Claims department and duties will include;

-    Working as part of a group of Litigators to manage and progress a caseload of Group Action claims 
-    Working on files from start to finish 
-    Taking instructions 
-    Obtaining and reviewing evidence
-    Instructing experts including reviewing reports 
-    Valuing claims 
-    Negotiating settlements 

Our client is aware that Group Action experience is quite niche and therefore we are looking for applications from candidates who have circa 12 months experience handling Civil Litigation claims. It would be an advantage if you had experience of PI Litigation, Product Liability Litigation, Consumer Protection Litigation or Privacy Litigation but this is not essential. 

You should possess excellent client care skills, have the ability to work on your own and as part of a group and be able to manage strict deadlines.
