GDPR/FOI and Governance Solicitor – £35 - 45 p/h – West Midlands
Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a GDPR /FOI and Governance Solicitor to join a dynamic Local Authority in the West Midlands. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months but there is the possibility for this to be extended.
Duties may include:
- Advising on internal governance and legal provision to include: the Data Protection Act, General Data Protection Regulations and the technicalities of Data Protection compliance
- Draft a range of relevant data protection documents and clauses within contracts: Consent forms, data sharing agreements, non disclosure documents
- Working alongside the Internal Complaints Office (ICO) and handling appeals of ICO decisions
- If capacity allows, advising on Employment law
An attractive rate of between £35 - £45 p/d is offered dependant upon experience. The client is ideally looking for someone to work on a full-time basis but can be flexible on home working.
