Rare and exciting opportunity for a clinically trained health care professional to join a friendly and successful law firm in the centre of Bristol.
Based in Queens Square you will be joining the firms Clinical Negligence Department acting as a first point of contact for potential new clients contacting the department with enquiries relating to clinical negligence. You will take a detailed history from the potential client for the purpose of assessing, with the assistance of senior fee earners, whether the firm can assist with the client's enquiry.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone from a clinical background who wants to retrain to become a lawyer whilst using their clinical skill set and gaining invaluable practical legal experience within an established specialist department.
As you will be the first point of contact for most prospective clients, an exceptional telephone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. To enable you to deal appropriately with the complex subject matter of these enquiries, a clinical background is essential.
