One of the UK's Top 5 firms in big ticket Corporate M&A, our Magic Circle client is currently seeking to hire an associate for its corporate team. This leading practice is considered on the major players in corporate deals across financial services and in industry.

THE ROLE

As a resulf of year on year growth and numerous client instructions this firm is looking to hire an associate into its corporate practice. This team is seeking an outstanding mid-level M&A lawyer with a strong focus on UK takeover and public company experience. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate both specific (and preferably high-value) corporate finance and M&A experience; and experience in organising and managing transactions. For individuals wishing to focus on public M&A, experience acting for both bidders and target companies in public takeovers is important.

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally the successful candidate should have the following;

• Qualified as a Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE
• Experience in organising and managing transactions
• Ideally trained at a top City or International law firm
• Excellent academics and strong commercial acumen
• Experience in M&A is a prerequisite
