Paralegal Role Description
Our Liability (Catastrophic Injury) Team is looking for an experienced Litigation Assistant based in London to work primarily on EL/PL defence injury work consisting of multi-track up to and including catastrophic injury. You will contribute to the effectiveness of the team by providing comprehensive support to internal and external clients. The ideal candidate for this position has at least 0-2 years' legal experience alongside very strong academics, while experience in defending personal injury liability claims, understanding of Civil Litigation and the CPR is highly desirable.
Key Tasks
- Arranging expert examinations and instructing experts
- Accompanying fee earners to meetings and note-taking
- To operate the Firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the quality procedures
- To ensure confidentiality and security of all practice and client's documentation and/or information
- To maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm's existing clients and to assist in developing the professional reputation of the London Liberty team and Firm
- To contribute to the provision of the team's working practices and systems
- Trail listing and trial bundles
- Organising client papers and entering deadlines into the case management system
