You will be joining a leading UK sports organisation as their General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Role

You will be initially based at the organisation's fantastic HQ located on the west London/Berkshire borders.

You will undertake an extremely diverse in-house role, getting involved in a wide range of commercial contracts and issues as well as all-round wider matters facing the organisation including with respect to IP, DP and Compliance.  You will also perform the function of Company Secretary for the organisation.

You will report directly into the CEO and be an integral member of the senior management team.  You will play a crucial role in shaping the future success and commercial growth of the governing body as it continues it expansion plans into the rest of 2019 and beyond.

You

You will be a qualified lawyer with significant prior experience of various commercial contracts and issues, IP and DP, advising senior internal stakeholders and directors and you will have some familiarity with a Company Secretary function.  Prior experience of the sports sector would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.

You must be initially able to work in the west London/Berkshire region and then after approximately 12 months must be able to work in the Oxfordshire and/or Northants regions going forward in terms of location of this role.
