This elite litigation team is currently looking to recruit a junior associate for the London office to focus on banking, finance and insolvency disputes.
The finance disputes team continues to act on some of the most significant high value banking disputes with cases considered by the leading publications to be the largest and most significant cases pending in the UK.
Examples of the type of work that the team has recently handled includes corporate trustee, corporate service provider and agency disputes, allegations of professional negligence arising out of capital markets transactions, Islamic finance/structured finance defaults, commodity and trade finance disputes, civil fraud claims, insolvency investigations and insolvency litigation.
The team also generally advises clients and colleagues in transactional teams on a wide range of problems of interpretation of complex banking documentation.
The role will suit someone with a very strong academic background, experience of a range of banking, finance and insolvency-related disputes, strong communication skills and a confident self-starter who is happy to run elements of cases with minimal supervision.
