Your new company
A Top 50 Law Firm based in Birmingham is looking for a Real Estates Disputes Solicitor to join their Litigation and Disputes Resolution group. As a Solicitor in this Firm you will be representing individuals, private and public companies, major corporate occupiers, high street retailers, shopping centres, clearing banks, universities and other public bodies. Advising on a range of disputes regarding freehold or leasehold property primarily on large volume business lease renewals for national chains. Your new role
As the Real Estates Disputes Solicitor for this Firm you will be servicing clients in specialist real estate disputes matters, handling high value and complex commercial property litigation and dispute caseloads.
Key Duties:-

  • Providing assistance to a team of experienced lawyers on a broad range of high value and complex commercial property disputes ie:
    • all aspects of lease management disputes, including rent recovery
    • rent review
    • termination by break notices
    • forfeitures etc.
    • all aspects of property development disputes including: trespass, squatter injunctions, protests injunctions, rights of light, nuisance, etc.
  • Running own caseload of mainly 1954 Act lease renewals for both landlords and tenants


What you'll need to succeed
This Firm is looking for a Newly Qualified Solicitor with experience of litigation/property transactions gained within a commercial team that handle high-value property litigation caseloads. Excellent communication skills as you will, not only, be liaising with clients but also with internal Directors and Partners. This is a busy and demanding team that is continually working under pressure and deadlines, therefore, a highly enthusiastic and ambitious individual would do well within this Firm.
