ADULT SOCIAL CARE LAWYER NEEDED FOR EAST MIDANDS
LAW Absolute are supporting a local authority based in the East Midlands, who are seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for a three to six month period with a high possibility of extension on a full time basis.
It is necessary that the successful candidate can start on short notice and will be required to deal with the following duties:
- Advise on the full remit of adult social care issues to include DOLs applications,
- No recourse to public funds,
- Court of protection applications,
- Mental capacity issues and ordinary residence,
- Have a good understanding of the Care Act 2014 and ideally have some childcare exposure.
Our client’s desire would be a candidate with local authority experience however, candidates from the private sector are encouraged to apply. Due to the urgency around the position, you will be required to be available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
