The Role

The successful hire will be joining a leading firm that's achieved more Tier 1 rankings in the Legal 500 than any other firm; the Employment and Reward practice is recognised as one of the most innovative and high profile, providing industry leading advice to multinational clients.

The Legal Director joining the team will be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with any/all of the following: strategic employment law advice, cross-border issues, restructuring and redundancy, complex grievances at a senior level including discrimination and whistle blowing complaints and senior executive/board room issues.

Any experience in or willingness to get involved in complex high value contentious matters would also be an advantage.

This leading team deal with cutting edge Employment work for a variety of blue-chip corporates and financial institutions. The work regularly involves an international dynamic, working closely with colleagues in the firm's international offices.

Requirements:

  • You will An Associate with at least 3 years PQE+
  • Must have outstanding experience in Employment legal work dealing with clients at the highest level
  • Must have an eye for details, spotting opportunities and able to suggest improvements proactively.
  • A strong technical knowledge is essential.
  • First-class communication skills and ability to work alongside colleagues
  • Excellent client facing skillset and eager to get involved in business development
