An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal accounts assistant to join a well-respected, regional law firm based in their brand new, modern offices in Grimsby.
As a legal accounts assistant, you will be responsible for managing clients’ accounts and the firm’s nominal accounts, which involves bank reconciliations, receipt allocation, daily banking, petty cash, electronic and cheque payments, management of direct debits and standing orders and liaising with banks.
You will also be liaising directly with fee earners and their support staff with various accounts enquires. This is a broad and varied role and the successful legal accounts assistant will be joining a busy and bustling department.
You will need to have previous experience working as a legal accounts assistant within a law firm, excellent communication skills, time management and strong IT proficiency.
