Dominic Levent Solicitors are seeking a Solicitor (1 + PQE) wishing to convert to a niche family practice and join their well established and progressive legal practice in North London, (Whetstone) for a full-time contract. The role is a permanent position subject to the usual probationary period.   

Conversion Training

The conversion training is designed to introduce qualified solicitors from other disciplines with good core skills  wishing to work and retrain  and  specialise in all aspects of Family law.

The conversion training is a fast track opportunity to retrain as a specialist Family law solicitor and a stepping stone for those who qualified in other areas to work with high net worth clients in privately funded legal proceedings.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with an interesting and varied caseload of files with work across all aspects of family law including Financial remedy Divorce, Children Act, Injunctive and Cohabitation matter and Enforcement

This position represents an excellent potential for personal and professional development and training.

What you will bring to the team

This role would be suited to a driven and ambitious solicitor with at least 1 year’s PQE who is seeking to develop a lucrative career in Family Law. The successful applicant will work alongside a Senior Family Solicitor and other highly experienced staff, gaining valuable experience and guidance along the way.

We are looking for a qualified solicitor who possess

  • A minimum 1 year of PQE
  • Knowledge of family law (preferable but not essential)

Remuneration

Salary is negotiable based upon existing experience, client facing and/or court room experience advantageous.
