Role: Compliance Assistant
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000.
Firm: International Law Firm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Assistant to join a commercial Law Firm based in The City. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience of working within the compliance department of a reputable law firm.
Supporting the growing compliance department, you will also be responsible for:
- Checking/opening new client requests for Money Laundering
- Carrying out KYC with the addition of risk analysis
- Supporting the Senior Compliance Officer on day-to-day tasks and projects
- Assisting with the development of the firms AML processes and procedures
- Dealing with general internal and external client queries
- Assisting with annual high-risk client reviews
It is highly favoured if the successful candidate has similar experience within another international law firm. Qualities such as demonstrating good judgement and business awareness, being flexible and able to adapt to new situations are strong requirements for this role.
