Paralegal Roles with Potential Progression to Training Contract

We are seeking to recruit versatile, dynamic and motivated paralegals to join our highly successful team. The vacant positions are initially for paralegal roles but TKP recruit all paralegal staff with a view to their progression to Trainee Solicitors. We would anticipate that the right candidate would make this progression within a 3 to 6 month period based on their performance. In exceptional circumstances, Training Contracts may immediately be offered during the paralegal recruitment process.
The successful candidates will report directly to the firm’s Partners and / or Senior Associates, working closely with them and other fee earners on complex, high value, UK and cross border litigation. Duties will include undertaking complex legal research, drafting legal documentation / correspondence and assisting in all aspects of the litigation process. This is a phenomenal opportunity for bright, capable and ambitious individuals who have achieved excellent academic qualifications.
Candidates should have relevant legal experience and qualifications, as well as exceptional organisational skills. Candidates will have completed the LPC or BVC, achieving a commendation or above, or will be undertaking the LPC on a part time basis whilst working full time. The successful candidates will be ambitious and hard-working, with a desire to develop a range of professional legal skills, possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work within a team and manage various commitments and projects.

Selection Criteria
• 2.1 Degree Class or above;
• 3 A levels: 2 A’s and 1 B or above;
• Commendation or above on the LPC; elective in Commercial Litigation preferable;
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
