A rising FinTech are looking for a Data Protection Manager
This digital payments FinTech are seeking a data protection professional to join them as an SME. They have been rapidly growing for the last 4 years and are now a recognised present in the digital banking space. You will be working closely with global Regulatory Compliance Managers and Legal Counsel, so this position offers strong compliance and legal exposure. You will need to help draft GDPR and DP policies and carry out DPIAs and SARs, so this experience is quite important for the position as well.
Some desired requirements:
- 3+ years experience in data protection/privacy
- If you are a qualified lawyer that is a bonus, but not a requirement to be considered
- Experience of working at a professional services firm advising clients or regulators on data protection related matters
- Knowledge and experience of the applicable regulatory requirements in relation to GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECRs. Knowledge of data protection regulatory framework in other European jurisdictions is a plus
