Plexus Law – a Specialist Defendant Insurance Practice working with Insurance Companies, Corporates, Public Sector Clients and the Lloyd’s market – are looking for an Administrator to support the claims handler team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Taunton.

Responsibilities of your new role

As Administrator you will gain exposure to legal processes and high levels of client interaction. You will be encouraged to use your problem-solving skills to suggest solutions and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Your core duties in this Admin role will include:

  • Telephone and email correspondence
  • Filing, scanning and faxing
  • Requesting settlement cheques
  • Closing files
  • Fixed costs entitlements
  • Maintenance of office systems

Candidate requirements

We are looking to hire an Administrator who demonstrates: 

  • GCSE – English Language and Mathematics (A – C)
  • Good standard of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and high levels of organisation

Ideally, you will also have proven experience of:

  • Working within a legal/insurance administrative environment (1 year)
  • Case management
  • Telephone call handling
