Compliance Associate – Private Equity Fund
Our client, an international private equity firm, is looking for a compliance associate to join their small London based compliance team that supports the firm in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the Global Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Provide advice and guidance on financial crime risks:
- Provide support to the Client Services Team with Investor AML/KYC
- Support the Investment Teams on Investment KYC/AML
- Assist the MLRO in the implementation of policies and procedures
- Provide support in drafting relevant management information and the MLRO report
- Provide Regulatory/Compliance assistance including:
- Assistance with regulatory filings and related compliance requirements
- Maintenance of written policies and procedures
- Development and delivery of training to the firm
- Compliance review of marketing materials / RFP’s / Due diligence requests
- Compliance advice or support to internal departments
- Maintenance of the Schwab Compliance system
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2:1 degree
- Understanding of Financial Crime risks and knowledge of KYC & AML requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of Compliance monitoring and testing
- Knowledge of AIFMD/MIFID/FCA Handbook and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of fund of funds, complex fund structures and/or private equity/alternative investments would be beneficial
