Payroll Manager

An excellent Payroll Manager needed for a global law firm based in Manchester City Centre.

With a turnover in the multi millions and a client base spanning 30 countries, this is an excellent opportunity to join an already established business with ample growth projects.
As the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for a team of two, whilst also being hands on in the end to end processing for up to 1000 employees. You will ensure that all payroll is accurately processed within the required timescales. You will oversee all statutory deductions including SMP, SPP, SSP, NI, PAYE in accordance with HMRC legislation. You will also take responsibility for year end, including P11Ds, P45s etc. You will produce payroll reports, preparing and posting payroll journals, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations. Additional management responsibilities will include training and appraisals, 1 2 1s and driving performance throughout the team.
