My client is a Lincoln-based firm that is renowned for its agricultural work and now has an exciting opportunity for someone to join as an agricultural law paralegal.
You can expect to assist on a varied caseload. Typical matters include land and property related matters dealing with sales, purchases, options and leases, easements and farm diversification matters, as well as renewables projects that often involve contracts and litigation issues. Also some issues around private wealth.
This varied role will provide the opportunity for the agricultural law paralegal to manage their own caseload of land and property related matters. Alongside this, they will provide support to other fee earners within the team, including with responsibilities relating to searches and post completions, along with general support with complex casework.
Excellent client care skills are required as the role will involve liaising with clients both face to face and over the phone, along with good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Liaising with farmers, landowners, tenants and investors, you will get to know the client base and the issues they face.
Experience of managing the conveyancing process is essential and whilst knowledge gained within an agricultural setting would be an advantage, the firm is equally interested to hear from those from a residential conveyancing or commercial property background.
The firm can offer an excellent reputation and a welcoming atmosphere, along with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
It’s a really interesting and unique area of law to be in and no two days and no two cases are the same, but you have to want to commit to agricultural law for the long term.
Salary to be negotiated based upon experience. Approach us in confidence around this excellent Lincoln based agricultural law paralegal role.
