Global IT Giant, a Fortune 100 Company
Location: Thames Valley, UK (for those of you outside of the UK it is the area to the West of London on a direct train line to London)

The Company
Our client is a sought after cutting-edge world leading technology company with over $50bn revenue and a busy 300-strong legal team. Company technology includes AI, Big Data, Analytics, Cloud and Data Centre, Collaboration, Video, IoT, Networking, Security etc.

The Role
The business is looking to appoint a talented lawyer in a temporary capacity (9-12 months) reporting to EMEAR Legal Director to cover EMEAR-wide commercial legal matters including commercial and technology contracts.

This is an excellent chance to experience being part of one of the best legal teams in the world that is central to this dynamic, fast moving global business. In this exciting and varied legal commercial role you will have an opportunity to help define the platforms that shape the future of tech.

As a member of the team of lawyers supporting the business across Europe, Middle East and Africa, you will create solutions that help the company address its business and legal challenges and work on a variety of matters in fast moving environment: partner with the commercial teams to develop and implement sales strategies, advise on sales and competition matters, go-to-market strategies and draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology contracts.

About you

• You are a junior to mid-level commercially-minded lawyer, UK or EU qualified, with expertise in commercial law and experience of advising clients on high value complex transactions in the IT / technology / telecoms sector across multiple jurisdictions
• Ideally you speak German, French or another European language
