LAW Absolute is working with a Top 50 city firm who has an opportunity for an experience litigation lawyer to join them on a fixed term contract. The position is with a view to extend or made permanent. you will have experience in disputes resolution with significant knowledge of the investment banking industry and other financial institutions.
You will work closely with the disputes team on investigations for financial institution namely acting for banks, investment funds and major corporates on commercial litigation, internal investigations, arbitrations, and mediations.
Some of these cases will have an international slant and your role will include;
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, reports, notes of advice and position papers
- Reviewing and analysis large volumes of documents in support of complex litigation
- Identifying and managing legal and business risks
- Working closely with clients’ legal and business stakeholders to identify commercial solutions to legal issues
