EL/PL Litigator

This highly reputable legal 500 law firm is looking to recruit a competent EL/PL litigator/legal excecutive for their successful Manchester City Centre office.

Salary is up to £35,000.

You will also benefit from a market leading bonus structure (some fee earners earnt up to £16,000 in bonus in 2018)

You will be surrounded by a supportive team of qualified fee earners and will have the opportunity to progress to senior management.

The role will comprise of the following duties:

• A Personal Injury Litigation Executive specialising in pre-litigated and litigated EL/PL Cases.
• Manage a busy and varied caseload of EL/PL matters.
• Working to court deadlines
• Liaising and Reporting to insurers
• Ensuring limitations dates are met
• Writing letters negotiating settlements
• Witness Statements
• Letters of Instruction
• Reviewing medical reports
• Issuing court proceedings
• Diary Management
• Keeping in constant touch with the clients to ensure communication and continuous workflow.
• Use of in-house case management systems
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes
• Research using internal resources

The successful candidate will have previous experience of running a busy caseload within a legal practice, good working knowledge of the CPR, JC Guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work to deadlines.
