IN-HOUSE Paralegal

This award-winning business provides technology services and offers a friendly and supportive environment for its employees. The legal team is looking to recruit a professional paralegal with property experience to join as the business expands and continues to grow.

Your new role
This is an opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a commercial environment and develop your experience in real estate / commercial property law as well as commercial contracts in-house. Working closely with the head of legal, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with documentation including commercial leases, deeds of variation, Land Registry searches and reviewing registered titles and documents. In addition, you will also assist on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including NDAs and supply agreements.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in managing your own caseload, either in commercial or residential property (as a minimum, 3-6 months as a paralegal) and you will have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding of commercial property matters. You will have excellent academics and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business. This role could suit an LPC graduate looking to develop their legal career in-house.
