Securitisation Lawyer - Head of Team

This is a short term role 8 weeks initially with potential of extensions dependant on how the permanent process is going

Description

Reporting to the General Counsel whilst heading up the Securitisation team, you will provide legal advice, review draft and negotiate documentation and provide all related transaction management and project management for:
* cash & synthetic, funded & unfunded structured transactions covering all asset classes
* note issuance
* netting and collateral enforceability opinions
* project finance and securitisation transactions
* Review, draft and negotiate transaction documents, term-sheets, client presentations
* structured transactions including derivative and repo and securities documentation

* Manage all transactional work including ISDAs, intercreditor agreements and security trust deeds

* Work alongside 6 lawyers within the Legal team.

You will also advise and assist business units in the structuring and the setting-up of new & complex products and new business initiatives.

Profile

* Experience in similar role with a Bank and/or law firm.
* Qualified lawyer/negotiator with 5 years minimum derivatives/securitisation documentation experience is essential.
* Confident communicator with ability to liaise with senior counsel and stakeholders within the business.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Highly organised with time management skills
