Paralegal, International Asset Manager– 8-week contract

Our client, a growing international asset manager, is looking for an experienced paralegal to join their small London based legal team, initially this contract will be for 8 weeks but with the possibility of this being extended. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who is keen to gain experience in a supportive in-house environment. 

Responsibilities

• Preparation of documents based on in-house templates, amending agreements and assisting in general admin and clerical work.
• Reviewing legal documentation including NDAs and service agreements with supervision from in-house team.
• Liaising with counterparties and managing own work-load.
• Working alongside other teams, including the Investment Teams, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

• A law degree graduate, ideally having completed a legal practice course.
• 2+ years legal experience within a law firm or an in-house environment.
