This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced private client solicitor to join a longstanding and highly regarded Sunderland based practice.
This is an exciting time to join a firm that is looking to grow and expand their already reputable private client department. This is a full-time position within a friendly but professional firm, with a high quality of work attached.
This firm covers the full range of private client matters. In this role, your caseload will include wills, probate, trust services, Court of Protection, powers of attorney, elderly client and inheritance tax planning.
A large part of this position will include taking over a preexisting caseload of probate work, but you will also have an emphasis on developing the trusts and Court of Protection (non-contentious) departments.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an experienced private client solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE. It is essential that you have previously been involved in business development, as well as having prior Court of Protection experience. Having your own network of clients is extremely desirable. Excellent organisational and communication skills are also essential.
There is a highly competitive salary and benefits package attached.
