Our client is now seeking a driven and ambitious Insolvency and Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its busy litigation team based in Essex.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Insolvency and Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our client’s busy practice in Colchester. Working as part of a specialist insolvency team based within the dispute resolution department, the successful solicitor will manage a diverse caseload, whilst working alongside partner and other solicitors.
Responsibilities
• Contentious insolvency
• Claims for misfeasance
• Antecedent transactions
• Debt recovery
• Assisting on general insolvency
• Supporting the department and its growth
• Business development
• Client care
• Advising trustees in bankruptcy, liquidators and administrators
• Banking litigation
• Administration appointments, also in court
• Bankruptcy petitions
The Candidate
• Applications are encouraged from solicitors with a minimum of three years’ PQE
• Solid experience in commercial litigation and insolvency is required
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of both insolvency law and civil procedure is essential
• Good academics with training in a reputable practice
• Demonstrating excellent client care skills, you will build strong working relationships at all levels
• Willingness to be involved in the networking, training and marketing activities of the team is important
