Part Time Payroll Officer needed for a well-known events organisation in Manchester. This role is a maternity cover and will therefore operate as a 12-month fixed term contract.

As the Payroll Officer you will ensure the accurate and timely processing reporting of all areas of all areas of payroll control, related administration and proactive handling of employee payroll related queries for a weekly and monthly payroll.

* Compile weekly payroll summary's, currently charged to various departments
* Ensure all departmental managers are enforcing the venues time and attendance and time sheet management system
* Ensure all payroll costs are accounted for the correct financial period and all accruals are accurate and necessary
* Ensure payroll weekly forecast is delivered on a week by week basis
* Identify new opportunities in order to promote cost control in all areas of responsibility

To be suitable for this role you must have at least 2 years payroll experience and have processed payroll from start to finish. Ideally you will have used Sage Payroll previously and have worked in a stand-alone capacity.
