Your new role
You will teach on the civil litigation team on the Bar Professional Training Course at our London Bloomsbury campus. Your role will be to provide tuition on the following courses including Legal Practice Course, the LLM in Legal Practice, the LLB, the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and PSC/PD, the BPTC and/or other University courses to the best possible standard. In addition you will be required to perform other duties assigned from time to time, including full programme delivery and student support.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a genuine passion for quality and excellence, who can demonstrate successful legal practice experience. You will enjoy being challenged (by students and course content in equal measure) and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery. Your teaching knowledge will include both (civil litigation, remedies and evidence) and skills (drafting, opinion writing, conference, negotiation and advocacy), in short flexible in your subject coverage. You will also have experience in marking in-course assignments and final assessments.
