American Law Firm is Hiring! A leading global law firm is looking for an articulate, well-driven and dedicated individual for their corporate department. They require someone who enjoys the breadth of tasks associated with managing a busy Partners. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to build on their skills and be a senior PA within the team.

Legal Personal Assistant

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • High-level diary management and secretarial support
  • Prepare and collate meeting papers and documents in advance
  • Extensive liaison with internal and external clients
  • Coordinate/organise internal and external meetings; booking meeting rooms, arranging telephone conference calls and presentations
  • Responsible for looking after the Senior Partners and assisting with day to day duties
  • Screen telephone calls, resolve queries and take messages as appropriate
  • Organise travel arrangements (including rail, air, taxi and hotels)
  • Draw up step-by-step itineraries including maps, travel times, local taxi numbers etc. for directors, team heads and/or any managers they are travelling with
  • Printing and binding presentations as required
  • Building and creating relationships with clients
  • Minute taking, copy typing and amendments of all correspondence (including minutes, internal and external meeting notes, spreadsheets, faxes, letters, memos, reports etc

Legal Personal Assistant

Key requirements for this role:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience within a Legal Corporate department. (Supporting Capital Markets Partner is an avenge but not essential)
  • Ability to prioritise and reprioritise tasks where appropriate
  • Advanced IT skills, including PowerPoint, Visio and Excel. All PAs are expected to have good IT literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as additional support for preparing professional slides including diagrams and other graphics for internal and external presentations.
  • GCSE in Math's / English is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence to proactively take ownership for action points
