Interim Property Lawyer

Your new company
This Charity are best known for preparing young people with skills for life through workshops, activities and adventure. They help to develop character skills like resilience, initiative and tenacity; employability skills such as leadership, teamwork and problem solving; and practical skills like cooking and first aid. Based near Chingford, the Legal team require an interim property Lawyer for 3 months.

Your new role
As a property lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a challenging project, and will be responsible for negotiating property transactions and structuring arrangements for conveyancing or investments. You will also prepare documentation, such as contracts to finalise transactions as well as drafting new and amending existing templates. Finally you will collect relevant property information from surveyors.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you should have a minimum of three years post qualified experience as a Lawyer/Solicitor/Barrister. You should have demonstrable experience of working in the public, charities and/or not for profit sector within a commercial property legal role. Experience of managing a project is desirable and you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
