Legal Conflicts Assistant - £19,000-£19,500 - Sheffield
Our client is an international Commercial law firm who are looking for a Conflicts Assistant to join their Client Intake department. This is a great opportunity for a Professional Graduate who is seeking an entry into a reputable law firm to develop analytical and research skills. Furthermore, this can be an opportunity for non-law graduates who have studied degrees that are research focused or involve data analysis as a route to compliance opportunities.
Duties involved:
* Carry out initial conflicts searches in the firm's client and database which contains sensitive information.
* Reviewing the conflict search request information submitted by Lawyers across the firm.
* Working closely with the International Conflicts Response and US firm's conflicts team to ensure a prompt and accurate service to lawyers.
* Compiling daily Conflicts broadcasts.
* Performing other tasks when required in support of the Conflicts team.
* Maintaining the sensitive information held on the firms database.
