This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a dynamic European Legal team and also to shape the strategy and direction of the future of the company and its recently acquired businesses in Cloud technology, Media distribution, Cyber security, and a few other technology sectors. This position is a well paid senior position and is looking for a lawyer with excellent experience in TMT to bring their unique insights.

Our client is an international organisation going through exiting developments and increasing it's foothold in the technology sector, not only having acquired successful businesses across EMEA but also partnering with huge international companies using their technologies.
Description
The position will will report to the Head of Legal for Europe (who is also based in Berkshire). Travel within the country/sub-region of his/her responsibility may be required (including international travel).
- Prepare, review, negotiate and finalise all contracts (including annexes, exhibits, etc.) and related documents (such as RFPs, tenders and proposals, etc.) in relation to any direct or indirect sales activities and network operations activities in the country/sub-region of his/her responsibility.
- Coordinate the legal work with group departments within Other companies on any matters that are legal in nature (e. Corporate, HR, Sourcing, real estate and facilities management, etc.).
- Implement all policies, processes and procedures of the Legal & Regulatory Department set by General Counsel and/or Chief Counsel in the country/sub-region of his/her responsibility.
- Maintain proper corporate secretarial records of the entities in the country/sub-region of his/her responsibility to ensure legal compliance with local laws and coordinate with the relevant Paralegal to ensure that the country database is kept up-to-date. Consolidate/restructure existing legal entities in the country/sub-region.
- Provide legal support to the Regulatory & Compliance team where necessary such as setting up of any corporate vehicles which will provide solutions to address regulatory restrictions.
Profile
- Qualified lawyer or legal counsel with a minimum of eight (8) years PQE
- Professional experience in the IT industry
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Fluency in French or Swedish will be a big advantage
- Experienced in commercial/transactional negotiations, particularly in cross-cultural, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions is highly desirable. Those with experience in outsourcing transactions will have an added advantage
- Pragmatic and able to handle different challenges at the same time
- "team-player" who is academically sound, yet commercially-oriented
- A Law degree from a reputable University in the European Union
Job Offer
Aprox. 6 figure salary, 20% bonus and car allowance.
