The firm is recruiting for a number of evening legal secretaries to join the Residential Conveyancing Department in their head office in Sheffield. The role of a residential conveyancing secretary will require the candidate to work weekday evenings from 5 pm. The ideal candidate should have a good background of experience within a busy property environment. The role requires excellent copy and digital audio typing skills, with a good understanding of the need to prioritise when working with both clients and colleagues.
The ideal candidate should be able to prioritise and type legal correspondence and documentation from digitally dictated material when working within a high-volume residential conveyancing environment. Candidates should also be able to submit searches and complete land registry applications, as well as completing various forms and documents.
Previous experience of working in a similar role or as a legal secretary within a residential conveyancing department is essential for this role. The candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, with copy and digital audio typing at 60 wpm.

- Experience of working as a residential conveyancing legal secretary in a solicitors practice.
- Fast and accurate typing with a minimum speed of 60 wpm.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of Aim Evolution accounting package.
- Knowledge of OMS document management.
- Knowledge of Intelliworks document management.
- Knowledge of BigHand digital dictation.
