Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for an experienced Asylum Caseworker to join our clients Sheffield based office. 

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are OISC Level I or 2 or IAAS Level 2 Accredited. You will not be considered for this role if you do not have these qualifications.

This role will see you working alongside a team of immigration specialists, and handling your own caseload of Asylum and Detention matters including immigration applications, appeals and judicial reviews and duties will include;

-    Representing clients before immigration judges 
-    Preparing cases
-    Drafting documents including witness statements, skeleton arguments, representations etc 
-    Preparing and managing Home Office applications
-    Recording all contact with clients on databases 
-    Producing attendance notes following contact with clients 
-    Liaising with Immigration Authorities and third parties 
-    Conducting interviews with clients 
-    Providing advice to clients in relation to immigration law, procedures etc 
-    Assist clients with the completion of documents 
-    Working to set targets 

To be considered for this role it is essential that you hold the accreditation as outlined above. You should have experience of running your own cases in a similar role and have excellent client care and communication skills.
