In house commercial Lawyer

Your new role
This leading international business have a stellar reputation for their work and for being an employer of choice in the South West. They are currently recruiting for a Commercial lawyer to join the commercial team. You will represent the company in contractual agreements and ensure the completeness of contracts completeness of contracts, including appointments, warranties, bonds, innovations, joint venture agreements and associated contractual documents, as well as centrally held contract documentation.

You will Assist the Commercial Director to report on all appointments and liaise with other business services. You will also offer general commercial and contract training internally and contribute to the development and implementation of system and procedures to enhance the commercial team and the company as a whole.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified solicitor or possess equivalent legal qualifications, with experience in a comparable commercial and/or dispute resolution role. You will have experience of drafting contracts and strong commercial negotiation skills and will be able to work autonomously and use your initiative to be pro-active in giving advice, whilst prioritising your workload and maintaining strong attention to detail.
