Costs Draftsman/ Costs Lawyer

I am recruiting for a Law Costs Draftsman for a specialist firm based in Cardiff for their expanding Costs team. This well-known firm covers a variety of costs matters within the Market and offers great exposure to developing further within Costs. They are also on the panel for the NHS so there is a demand for an experience Costs Draftsman to join this ever-expanding Costs team.

You will be expected to manage a caseload of High Value Multi Track Costs responsible for Drafting bills of costs, preparing Budgets, preparing Points of Replies & Disputes, preparing Costs Schedules and negotiating settlements.

In terms of experience you will have at least 2 years' experience within a similar costs role and be proficient in general Costs matters. There is also a need for skills in solicitor/client: ATE insurance; retainers; Clinical Negligence and Commercial.

The salary on offer is £22,000 - £37,000 dependant on experience.
