We are seeking a Childcare Paralegal for a Local Authority based in Swindon. This role offers excellent training opportunities whilst on the job.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Childcare or Family Law Paralegal who is looking to join a well run, highly regarded public sector team. Our client is seeking applicants who have either public sector or private practice Family Law or Childcare experience.

The successful Childcare Paralegal will undertake a busy workload, where duties will include managing a caseload comprising mainly of children's social care matters. You will also provide support to Lawyers in the preparation of cases in court and the workload associated with that.

Alongside this, the successful candidate will assist Lawyers with their day-to-day workload, which will involve the following duties;

  • Carrying out research
  • Preparing applications
  • Drafting documents and correspondence
  • Preparing court bundles
  • Attending meetings

This position is for an immediate start, and will provide the right candidate with a fantastic opporutnity to work, progress and devleop within a busy, forward thinking organisation. It is likely that the role will continue beyond the inital 3 months, and there could be opportunities for candidates to go from temporary to permanent employment.
