Locum Lawyer (min. 2 years PQE)
Ref: EEK/799805
A public sector organisation in Lancashire requires a Locum Lawyer to join their team on a temporary, six-month, basis to assist with their workload of civil matters.
Day to day duties:
- Undertaking research on legal issues and the interpretation of new legislation, guidelines and policies as required
- Dealing with Civil Court applications and advising on Civil Procedure Rules, PACE and civil risks
- Advising on various matters to include the Proceeds of Crime Act, governance and general civil litigation
Candidate Specification:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with relevant practising certificate
- 2 years PQE
Role:
Location: Lancashire
Rate: £30 - £35 umbrella (PAYE equivalent)
Duration: 6 months (may extend)
Start: July 2019
